We stand against torture.
We stand against people who use it.
We believe that the U.S. should be free of it’s use
Both within and without U.S. sovereign territory
Torture degrades the human dignity of all who come in contact with it
From the architects and Humint operators who design these programs
To the targets and victims of this heinous cruelty
When torture takes place multitudes of bystanders are coerced into silence
These too are the victims of torture
Police coercion strips away their freedom
And lauds cruel and unlawful actions under the color of law
